How can we ensure students still have opportunity to build their soft skills in a remote environment?
In response to COVID-19 and the impact it has had on students, our group focused on a solution that could help students continue to develop their soft skills from a remote environment. The concept is a collaborative art event in which remote groups of George Brown college students could work together remotely on an art piece, individually adding their own style of art - leading to unique collaborative creations to be displayed locally. The event serves to provide opportunities fro art-oriented students from GBC to expand their soft skills in collaboration, communication, time-management, and problem-solving, as well as practice life-long learning.
We presented out concept by framing the problem and showing how we address those problems directly. Part of our work involved using UX tools such as personas and journey maps to understand the target audience.
